Our Story
Frequently Asked Questions
Motobrix began as a grassroots initiative in Mathare, driven by the need to address unemployment, environmental challenges, and lack of opportunities for young people. Our founder, Calvin Shikuku, recognized that waste could be transformed into valuable resources while creating jobs for youth.
We believe in youth-led innovation where young people are not just beneficiaries but active builders of solutions. Our approach is participatory, justice-oriented, and focuses on creating sustainable enterprises that address both environmental and economic challenges simultaneously.
